Got my @SCapparel gear last week and took a pic. I like this shirt’s use of photography. @SCapparel is really creative and the thought he puts into his designs is why I think this brand is dope. Definitely check him out if you have not already.
Unmatched, creative force to be reckoned with. Itching to take on the world 1 design at a time. #itsOfficial2012 I start building my legacy.

Got my @LoyalKNG gear today. So excited when I saw the package waiting for me. And of course it came with goodies. I even got a letter from Trung - how awesome is that
Planning to launch the new company this coming January with at least 5 shirt designs. So far I have 3 designs complete. Next, I have to wait for everything to go through with the trademarking, hopefully in time for launch. Still have to finalize the design on the business cards also. I have plans to have them custom cut a certain way, to make them stand out from all the others. Tackled the site design a few weeks back.
It’s an exciting journey that I have no clear view of where the road leads. I only know some of what I’ll see along the way. I see it as something that will continue to evolve over time. Right now, there’s no definite answer on what the company is, what it will be—How big it will be. All I know is all signs point to yes.
Took a vacation from work last week- I did absolutely NONE of the things I planned to do. I did manage to party like a rockstar Halloween weekend. Last time I just hung out all night was before graduating. Life after college has been - not as chaotic, way less parties.
I literally ended up taking a vacation (ate, slept, chilled). I didn’t even turn my desktop on once. Checked emails through my phone here and there. Oh and played some mean Scrabble ( I seriously kick ass at that game - find me on Words With Friends @ itsShala)
I planned on redesigning a site, starting on a new shirt design, designing my new business cards, and narrowing down which company to print my custom shopping bags. Yea, none of that happened.
Now I actually feel refreshed though, and hungry to get back working on my new business venture this week. I plan to launch the name and the first sector of the new company this January.
As of last week, the old company has been put to bed. SX Innovations is no more. It was a great run. But on to bigger and better things. Complete new business model. Getting custom designed silk screen shirts from me will be near impossible going forward. It’s no longer in scope- finally taking that leap to produce for the masses. Long time coming-
Don’t worry, I’m still staying true to my passion. I’m not designing based on trends, or what’s hot. I’m setting out to create a Creative Movement.
In this video I show you how to change the color of your shirt mockup / template. Also, learn a cool trick for giving your shirt mockup a little something extra.
I show you how to change the color of your shirt mockup templates. Plus, for those shirt mockups that have wrinkled tees, learn how to wrinkle your design so the whole shirt (including the design you place on it) looks wrinkled.
I think our next design should be printed on this shirt :)
You may think getting your brand in a retail store equals instant success, and money in the bank. Actually, it may be more of a hassle (http://www.t-shirtforums.com/offline-retail-tradeshows/t128527.html).
At times it seems like it would take away from the joy of printing or creating shirt designs in the first place. The joy of sharing your designs, meeting people happy to wear your designs, and fraternizing with fellow shirt designers. Going to shows/summits is a lot of fun, and you get to be in touch with the people who support you, meet them face-to-face. Moving into stores I think takes the love out of it versus the face-to-face interaction you get attending shows, or running your own shop.
