Okay, so I have been testing out Ustream and it definitely has some great qualities. However, with the style of videos I will be posting, I need to be able to display my full screen, in full screen mode. I’ve tried doing this with Ustream in different ways, and my screen just does not come out clear in the videos. So I am just going to use a good ole screen-caster recording program, and post the vids directly on my site (itsshala.com). What I do think I’m going to do, because Ustream is so fun, is broadcast myself live as I record diff vids. So everyone will get to see all the bloopers and screen takes live as the happen, LOL. It’ll be an awesome “behind the scenes” look. I hope to get the first vid posted this week….So be on the look out. I’ll annouce it when the first vid gets posted. Either over PowerPoint or Web Design. Maybe I’ll get two vids posted this week…

The original picture is on the left. On the right the picture is modified to have warm lighting. To depict late evening. I like modifying the color levels to bring out some more character in pictures, to make them come to life more and arouse feeling in the people who view them. Anyone can take a good photo, when used correctly, photoshop adds that extra umph to it.
`
So when you compare to the two images you can see how the color differs in the hair. The image on the right has deeper red-brown hair color, and looks slightly wet. The subjects skin has more yellow pigment than pink, giving the sense of the sun shining on her. The green plant and background are a brighter green.

So I modified the original picture to the left to look as if the subject is actually standing in front of a window. I adjusted the color levels so that it looks like it is late evening and as the sun is setting the blinds cast a shadow.
