[wireframes] Stoked about this site I am working on. Completely text heavy, and gave it a clean layout. My fun for this project is how I am going to create the blog section in #MODX. That’s going to be sweet laying out the chunks, TVs, and article templates. Make it super easy and friendly for the client to manage quickly without much thought.

Plus, it scales down for mobile devices. Took a Mobile First approach with this design. Forces me to make sure all the important info is front and center. Also, keeps me focus on reducing un-needed clutter. Now just have to get the client to realize some of the pages are lengthy and less text should be used. [fingers crossed]

When I review and study some of my favorite sites for inspiration, what makes it hot & sleek to me IS the amount of white space being used correctly.

Just because the space is there, you don’t need to stick something there. White space is a good thing, and the hardest to use correctly at times. But it makes all the difference.

Trying to figure out how I want to have the side section on the Home page. I am not feeling how I have it right now. Back to the drawing board… Since I have “SHOP” present in the top nav of the site, no need to have it on the side as well.
